The last part of this route was La-Roche-en-Ardenne. We almost thought that we were back to the Netherlands; we saw so many Dutch cars there.
We had to pay for parking. That was not the problem but we could only use coins of 50 cent or 1 and 2 euro. And we had only coins of 10 and 20 cents.
We visited Musée de la Bataille des Ardennes (Museum of the battle of the Ardennes). It was a big museum with a lot of dioramas and everything was set up clearly. This museum also contained an enigma decode apparatus. There was also a big book shop but if you wanted to see the inside of a book you had to ask someone of the museum. We prefer to take a look without someone watching over our shoulder.
We took the more difficult way home by accident. We wanted to take a bigger road but we followed the signs to Bastogne and we ended on a small meandering road. Maybe it is faster but it was harder driving.
