We went to Spicheren. There was an American tank and a field with a lot of monuments of the three different wars: 1870, 1914-18 and 1939-45. There was also a small German cemetery. This cemetery was the first war cemetery for the Germans.
Before the city was liberated it was was first bombarded and partly destroyed.
