We went to a German cemetery in Ammerschwihr. This cemetery was for the First World War but now there are also 16 soldiers of the Second World War buried there. These Germans were killed while defending the Vosges.
Ammerschwihr was burnt down completely because of the bombardments in December 1944 and January 1945.
