The small ferry-boat between Driel and Westerbouwing We parked our car next to the small ferry-boat and took the stairs to the restaurant for a good view over the surroundings.
The cables of the ferry-boat were cut by the English so the Germans couldn’t use the ferry-boat anymore. This action also meant that the Polish couldn’t pass the river when they arrived on the other side of the Rhine.
